PADI Divemasters and Instructors are often admired by scuba divers around the world for spending their days in the water, getting paid for their passion. What could be better?

At Blue Waters Dive Cove, we're excited to share our wealth of experience to help you achieve your goal of becoming a PADI Divemaster!

We offer an incredibly effective and high-value internship program designed not just to meet the course requirements, but to expand your experience, practical knowledge, and understanding of the diving industry by involving you in the Divemaster role after you’re certified.

Gaining a few months of hands-on experience working with our valued guests throughout the season is a fantastic way to build confidence, enhance your leadership skills, and prepare yourself for potential employment as a PADI Pro.

We conduct a three-month internship, which will start on June 1. This gives you one month to complete the course in a detailed and comprehensive way, ensuring you're fully prepared by the time you’re certified. After certification, you'll spend two months assisting us with daily operations at the dive center. During this period, you’ll work closely with our experienced staff, ensuring that our guests have a safe and enjoyable experience both in and out of the water.

Once you feel confident, you'll begin guiding dives independently, assist with courses ranging from beginner to rescue diver, conduct some Divemaster programs, and handle other day-to-day tasks at the dive center. This will give you a complete understanding of life as a Divemaster, with valuable experience both underwater and in the dive shop to set you up for the next stage of your career.

Many of our Divemaster candidates have gone on to become PADI Instructors, with some staying with us for years!

We understand that a three-month commitment may be difficult for some, so if that timeframe doesn’t work for you, let us know, and we’ll discuss alternatives. Depending on availability, we can also assist you in finding accommodation, making your time with us as easy and stress-free as possible.
